Where are all the inventory for this camera now it's discontinued? They barely sold any, and all you see are few returns from BH and Adorama. I wouldn't mind getting one for like $2kish to play with. Some aspects are still pretty attractive.

You could try contacting B&H or Adorama and make an offer for one of the returns/used if they are still in stock.

Finally showing up now on B&S. Mid 3K's though. No thanks. Maybe mid 2K's but it's ginormous. Plus with the rumored FF Lumix fixed lens coming out...

So many ZX1 cameras showed up on the Buy and Sell this month! Currently, they are selling for around $3,000 to $3,500.

I would get one to try. I don’t mind paying $3000 if I really like it, but if I don’t, it’s going to be so hard to sell. Something goes wrong with it, there is no warranty or anyone to service it. I think many of us is still yearning for a high end 35mm fixed lens camera to replace Rx1rii. Q2/Q3 is fine for now.

Unless my search was bad, the asking price is around $3k or so...not seeing any selling for that. We'll see if those asking prices get reduced if they sit for too long.

So many good things - excellent lens, great screen, nice grip, but no IBIS and way overpriced.
That. And having shot with the A7CR since it came out, I'm really fond of having a focusing mechanism (joystick/d-pad, etc). Using the touch screen is just not very intuitive or efficient in my experience.
But that screen! If ANY manufacturer puts out a Full Frame camera with screen that's 4" or larger (piddly compared to our smartphones) I'll switch systems in a heartbeat.

57 pages of posts on the ZX1. Without a doubt, this camera has the highest ratio of posts vs. purchases of any piece of kit discussed here.😀

I probably said it somewhere in this thread already, but the money Zeiss wasted on this camera...They could've rolled out a digital m mount ikon with a high res evf. I would've bought one immediately

It is crazy that there isn't an M mount competitor. And the Pixii doesn't count as it weirdly came out as a crop frame camera. I guess they thought Leica was still making the M8 in 2024.

It should be a job for Cosina in a collaboration with Sony. Manual focus only camera with a fine high quality feature set custom designed for MF inside a cutting edge lightweight EVF camera. People would pay serious money for one, and Leica could carry on in their RF modality. win-win?
