Can someone please help me with something? I sized the above images at 1200 pixels lengthwise to get the files down under 300mb but left the resolution at 300 dpi. Was this correct or should I have done it a different way? Bringing the resolution lower made the images look pretty bad.
Thanks
For landscape images I usually size to 1200 on the long edge just like you. However, portrait images fit better on this site when sized to about 900 on the long edge. 300 DPI is fine.

DPI doesn't matter for web based images. Pixels should be used to determine the size of the image. Jpeg quality should be used to determine overall quality of that jpeg image. Colour profile should also be sRGB for web.
Another from my afternoon taking photos of kite surfers. Take outs from this session: The Z7 + 70-200 f2.8E FL VR combo is superb. I used "Wide Area AF (L)" and AF-C and High fps. Nailed focus every time.
Z7 + 70-200 f2.8E FL VR, 1/640s f/5.6 at 200.0mm iso64. About an 80% crop!

How do you guys feel about the build quality of the new S lenses. I'm interested in the 24-70S f4 and 50S f1.8. It's been awhile since I had Nikon and I'm thinking about the Z6. Plus I see Nikon has Limited 4-Year USA Warranty Extension with Online Registration
