p.30 #1Pre-order: Voigtlander 110/2.5 Macro APO for $1,099
Japan release date was finally announced today: 7th of December.
http://www.cosina.co.jp/seihin/voigtlander/e-mount/e-110mm/index.html
I've had this pre-ordered since the first announcement so looking forward to finally getting it
I guess other markets will get it at around the same time.

Robert White has a 10% cashback offer at the moment so I placed my order. Hope their lenses won't be stuck in customs for two weeks like the cv 3.5/21.

Yes, he confirmed to me that they will ship on Dec 7th and he has more space to fulfill all the pre-orders on the first shipment.
I should get one for review as well.

Is it:
- Sharp across the frame at infinity wide open or stopped down to f/4 (landscapes)
- Is it incredibly sharp closer in wide open (medium range portraits)
- Is it amazingly sharp really close in (close-up portraits)
- Does it make great sun stars (night landscapes)
- How is the flare and ghosting (landscapes with sun in the frame)
- How is the CA (both types)
Prospective buyers are very interested to know such things!

It will ship around 7.12. until then I wouldn't expect any tests, at least from western sites.

Yes and Dec 7th falls on a Friday which means we can only start testing it a few days later...if the weather cooperates.

I think we have such high expectations for this lens that it will be tough to meet them. I look forward to it.
