I was able to try on an old Win 7 PC, but like some here in this thread did not work out. Looking to see if I can try the same with better luck on a Win 10 PC.

I absolutely hate windows. That’s me though. I do have access to them right now at the show I’m doing but not risking it while I’m on a gig and we have a red carpet event tonight with 3 shooters and Godox units in place for it. Not sure WTF there thinking almost every Pro I know is on a Mac
FWIW, I'm finding Windows 10 a much less painful experience. Windows have come a long way. Not enough to make me switch but IMO usability is much improved in Windows 10.

Eh, I know too many Pros that use Windows only or both (Macbooks and Windows desktops usually) to really make a statement, but I don't hold it against anyone to prefer one over the other.
I don't really use Apple products personally due to being grounded in Windows for desktop work, but I also don't have anything against them, and I will certainly be looking at them closely for mobile devices when upgrades are needed in the future.
[and I absolutely understand not wanting to break away to play on a computer during a working show!]

It has, and you can use free (and clean!) software to make the UI look like Windows 7 if you prefer; I personally use them all interchangeably, along with Linux, which I've been meaning to set up a raw workflow on...

It has I tried 10 just switching now would be one of the dumbest moves I can do. Everything I own is Mac and my whole family is on them. The production booth in both NY and in LA is all Mac based as well. They can still run PC but they rather run macs. Once again a PC went down running music this trip. 3 minutes before curtain time

I absolutely hate Mac and I have been using computers since my early C64 and Tandy Coco days, but that is me. Still I was surprised that in all this time they still do not have a Mac compatible flash app. No wonder they seem to take forever to fix stuff...seems like a not very competent dev team :/
In other news, some guy is posting saying the TTL issue was NOT fixed but he is a known troll so I am trying to find the previous firmware to test both since I have two units. I wish I had thought about it before flashing both.
PS I just flashed the previous firmware on one of my transmitters so I can do a TTL comparison between the two units now.

I popped of 100 shots both in very low light and available light with the A7rII, 55mm 1.8 and the X1T paired with the 360TTL and I have to say I am impressed. I wrote about this a while back that the TTL was all over the place but now seems to be more consistent. Can anyone else confirm? Link

Staying within the ecosystem, so long as it continues to work for you (and I don't see why it wouldn't!) is most certainly more convenient and honestly what I would recommend, as a techie type myself.
Actually recommend Apple for many people as they seem to have gotten the 'computer/phone/tablet as an appliance' thing down pat, again so long as their products and services fit the expressed use cases.

I just updated the transmitter firmware and tested with the AD600's. Performance when going between f1.4 and f5.6 (HSS) really improved, but is far from perfect. Previously, TTL was accurate down to f2.8 and would then be off at f1.4 by as much as 3 stops (too low). Now, 1.4 is within about 0.5 stops, but there is a sag at about f2.8 ,where it is off by about almost 1 stop. Both of my transmitters were the same. Of course, I'll take any improvement I can get.
Fortunately, I do not use TTL too much; rather, I use my Sekonic L-858, which accurately meters HSS.
Now, I'll test the AD200's.
Addendum: I just tested the AD200's. Performance, from before the update, has not changed. F1.4 can require up to +3.0 stops compensation from what f4 would require in TTL/HSS. As a note, I also updated the firmware for both the AD200's and AD600's (and my 685's).

You also need to update the software for the camera (ver. 2.0 for a9, ver. 4.0 for a7 second and third generations). It doesn't appear to work with original model a7 cameras.

Yea I got it! You have to hold CH/OK until the functions menu show up and go to FN 10, then press GR and change it from "00" to "01". The camera has to be on AF-A or AF-S in low light. Honestly it was the poor Chinese translated English that was confusing.

In the past I got the Godox software to run/install/update while running Windows through Parallels on my Mac. I think that was the last time I used that software though and I'm trying to avoid buying the Parallels upgrade just so I can update my flashes...

FWIW, I updated my Neewer with the Godox firmware, and the AF illuminator works!
Works on A7rii and A7ii with Sony lenses and my Sigma 16mm 1.4. Did not work with LA-EA4 and Tamron lens or Sony 16-35 A-mount.
Did not work in any way on A6500.

I dont know what to make of TTL yet. I tried the new and old fiirmware with the eVOLV200 and it seems both look the same and pretty nicely exposed but the Xplor600 under exposes with either firmware from my quick test yesterday.

I see many saying the AF assist beam is functioning, but is it EFFECTIVE? Just because it's functioning doesn't mean that it's making a difference. You'll need to find a situation where the AF is hunting due to light levels being too low, and then pop on the transmitter and use the AF assist beam and see if using it helps the AF lock on quickly.
From my understanding, infrared AF assist beams are useless with mirrorless cameras, but I'd LOVE to be wrong and I'd IMMEDIATELY order two transmitters if that was the case.

I found that it was effective in achieving focus more quickly in dark situations. Not AS effective as my AF beams when I was using the A77ii or Canon cameras, but better than no beam. Part of the issue appears to be which focus setting I use with a given lens, as since it appears to be using laser light, the beams aren't terribly wide, so it's actually possible to have none appear in your focus spot if you're using the smallest center spot.
The laser pattern is similar to that of my old Sony DSC-V3, which touted being able (and was able) to focus in total darkness.
