Anyone up for the airshow down in Warner Robins? The Thunderbirds will be performing this weekend. I'm planing on going Saturday, its about a 2.5 hour ride- so it will make for a long day. But will be fun- their page on security is much more reasonable then Dobbins was.
Hello,
I have just move to Duluth from San Francisco and was hoping for some advice on some locations for taking landscape photos. It was easy in Northern California but being new to an area is a little hard. So I was hope some of you can suggest some area's to look at or a good book of the area that can get me started here. And wow, you can't buy wine on a Sunday here that weird.
Yea if you want to drink at home on Sunday here you have to buy a day ahead. Guess they never thought we would think of that one.
You won't find much like you did in California. We do have some nice waterfalls and Mtns. Try looking towards Helen, Ga. Up towards the Smokey Mtns. is pretty. You will find things its just not as easy as Cali. Wish I could be more help but I myself haven't roamed much around Georgia.

Hey Nathan, welcome to our little section of the country. We are going to San Fran and the central valley area at the end of the month. I can already taste the Zinfandel...
Lots of good areas to shoot within an hour or so of the city, especially north towards the mountains.
I will try to remember to bring you back a bag of fog.

These are from last Friday's hockey game. I'm glad Rob(whereismykit) could come. View larger images with EXIF at http://www.pbase.com/robinwalker/hockey . It is the last seven images in the gallery.
In case anyone is interested, I am going to another Galdiators hockey game next Wednesday. If you would like to go, I have one seat available in section 119, Row B.
These are from the last couple of games. Hopefully, I am getting better. I was trying a few things before. This time I will try to execute the plan.
Would love to make this game Robin but Gary and I are leaving for Kenya tomorrow and will be out of touch with you guys and gals on the Atlanta forum for a couple of weeks. Hope to show you a lot of good new photos when we return.
In the meantime here's a collage of some of last years photos. Wish you were all with us on this trip as we have such a great group of photographers.
