Here is where i am damn impressed at F2 the center is outstanding. On corners the right side is a little closer than the left side so all right side from F2 on look really good and left side F4 . I do not think this is decentered . Big Bronco proved it was not just distance and if i focused maybe more towards infinity the left side might be better. Infinity is not at the hard stop. Also focusing a wide like this is harder because your not zoomed in as far. So just a slight variance in corners but still outstanding. I think Astro can get away with 2.8 myself if you actually care about the corners. Your never going to get a flat field wide like this, always going to have some field curvature just the nature of the beast but here I am impressed. We are also extreme pixel peeping. Look at this whole image at F2. Thats pretty darn nice

I've already decided to keep it. For me it's really sharp so having at least one lens that's a laser in this focal length is handy. Color looks a lot like my Zeiss ZM glass which surprised me. So it matchs my 25,35,85 ZM lenses. My one negative is the Sunstars but I'm going to retest that again at F16. Not a big worry for me. Astro we just have to see the coma on it. I like the size it's not much bigger than the Loxia and I love the aperture ring out front since it matches my CV12 and ZMs. Besides all that the price is right. I'm getting cheaper.

Alright, I broke down and ordered mine from B&H. I really like a MF lens for shooting at night, be it for astro or anything else, if the lighting conditions are too low. The speed of f/2.0 and the native FE mount with exif transmission wins me over.

Okay this was hard on the lens. Im right into a dispersed light sun. There is clouds in front of it so light is pounding the sky. Honestly I seen many a lens do the same thing. This is brutal

Looks great after f/5.6 at infinity Guy. Hoping it has great coma controlt.
However, flare performance is still a question mark...I can see contrast loss and flare on your last shots.
