I bought one a week ago and was pleasantly surprised, did not expect such a good lens for the price and even without price considerations.
Sharp and vibrant till the corners, good colors.
They have made huge progresses since version 1 i used long ago.
My usual gear is composed of Leica and Zeiss lenses.

Pretty bummed there haven't been any updates on availability for this lens, maybe they are too busy with the 10mm to get these back in stock?
It's just speculation but perhaps they halted production to figure out what when wrong with some many lenses returned to them.

I've got the lens few days ago and the conner issue still exists on my lens numbered 086206xx although it is not that serious compared with the sample pictures above.
It seems that Cosina has not made any improvements for the new arrivals thus currently I have totally no idea what can I do in Australia since I purchased the lens in Japan.

Well, that's disappointing. I had hoped to snag a good copy of this lens before a trip in September, but I'm increasingly doubtful that that can/will happen.

I bought it new in Paris, France.
Serial is 086208xx so seems a bit more recently built than the lens belonging to xenon.cao.
No idea how they build them, in batches probably.
Maybe i have been lucky or a good match with my camera, an A7r

John I was reluctant to sell my M version as I thought it was no big deal but turns out I really like having the FE version now. The Exif seems like it's not necessary but I actually like having it. Hopefully these will come back in stock rid of its corner smearing.
