I recently acquired a copy of this lens. I would claim that my copy is good. It's not quite as sharp as the 12-24 GM, 12-24 G, 14-24 DN, 16-35 G, 14 GM and 17 DN, which I also have owned, but I think it's good enough from f/5.6. The main issue, at least with my copy, is chromatic aberrations. In several scenes, there's a lot of purple outlining, and it often leaves tracing or "grey pixels" after correction.
Though not many yet, I have shared some CV 15 samples on my Flickr, and got a dedicated album for it, which you can check out. Personally, I got this lens, as I enjoy using fully manual lenses, especially from Voigtländer and Zeiss, where both haptics and rendering are quite unique, I think. The focus ring is perfectly smooth, the images are punchy, and the sunstars are incredible as usual.
When I'm with people (which usually are indifferent or impatient, understandably), or if I'm unsure if manual prime kit will do the job (primarily in a new location, though it's just a passion), I bring the 12-24 G, 20-70 G and / or 50-300 Di.
As for my prime kit, I stick to ultra-wide and standard focal lengths (9mm, 15mm, 35mm and 50mm (might add a 21/25mm)). Adding more lenses kind of defeats half of the purpose, and adapting several telephoto lenses don't really make sense to me. Most of my images are somewhere in the 9-50mm range anyway.
Occasionally, I focus on very specific details on buildings, but I have reduced that approach, as it usually overwhelms me and requires even more lenses. Sometimes, it's about a bigger portion of the architecture piece, where ultra-wides come in handy.
I consider replacing the 20-70 G and 50-300 Di with either the 28-200 Di og 28-300 Di for less swapping (yes, ironic, when used to bring a bag of primes).
I'm a bit hesitant, as the 28-300 gets quite mixed reviews, and the 28-200 is not quite long enough. Good copies seem to compare to the 50-300 Di. Although I occasionally need even longer, 300mm lenses are a lot lighter and a worthy compromise to me.
Excuse me for the tangents.
