Just get an adapter ring for one of the 14-xx mm ff lenses for any 150mm system and stuff something between the lens body and the adapter so it does not move and leak. Profit.
Maybe sugru will do. It will not look pretty but could work.

Well balls. Just got my copy (from Amazon) today. This is a beautiful lens, but the top right and left corners are pretty horrible. The smearing looks really bad. Was hoping to replace my FE 16-35 but it just doesn't hold up in the image quality department. Guess this is going back to Amazon. So disappointing because I like EVERYTHING else about it. Size is wonderful. Center sharpness is great. And it just feels great on the camera. But those corners are downright ugly

Just out of curiosity, could someone (maybe Fred) with a copy of Piccure+ try running some of the bad images through it and see if their claim to being able to correct lens problems is valid. If Piccure works as claimed it would solve the bad copies perhaps well enough to save all the back and forth shipping for most people.

Wondering whether you could have a look at these and tell me whether the smearing at the corners is cause for me to return the lens. It's obviously not sharp, but I don't know how much to hope for from this lens.

You'd have to supply us with 100% crops of the corners or the entire image to see - it's not super obvious that there is smearing in the far corners. Which version is it - the M-mount or the FE mount?

Sorry, I've updated the photos to 100%. It's the FE mount, on a Sony A7II, shot at f/4.5, 1/640, ISO 400 (I know I should have shot at ISO 100, but made a mistake).

Here's another attempt, I hope I've done it properly this time. Wondering whether you could have a look at these and tell me whether the smearing at the corners is cause for me to return the lens. It's obviously not sharp, but I don't know how much to hope for from this lens. The full images are resized down, the corner crops are 100%. Shot on an A7II, at f/7.1, 1/200, ISO 100. Thanks for your opinion.

Stephen at CameraQuest just now told me that his best guess is 4-6 weeks for the next batch to arrive. Hmmm . . . that's a long time. Wonder what Voigtlander is doing with that time?

Do you think they are actually trying to fix the issue (do they even acknowledge it) or do you think thats just the original production and shipping timescales?

Ah, who knows. I considered asking Stephen this directly, but didn't. Seems like it's been out of stock for a couple weeks already, so a hiatus of ~2 months seems like you could do some fixing of the manufacturing or assembly process in that time. Or, they are focusing on making the 10/5.6 . . .
