Went out to shoot the comet to the NW of this abandoned house/homestead. I have shot astro from here before (and posted here awhile back). Unfortunately, just a little too many clouds, wrong lens, etc. Not the best results. However, the nice thing about going out for the comet these days is that as the comet sets, the MW rises. So, just turned around to capture this with my Loxia 21. Cropped to 5x7

Spent the night at Logan Pass, Glacier Nat'l Park shooting the Milky Way and the comet - mainly with the Loxia 21. Also caught a sunrise at St Mary Lake and a morning back at Logan Pass on the way home. I captured these with the Loxia 35 borrowed from a friend. It seems to do very well at f8 - but I guess no-one has ever complained about results at that f-stop.
