Here's my dog Reggie in front of the fireplace, from last January. He's a brindle-colored Pitbull/Lab mix, 82 lbs, and 4 years old.
Not aggressive at all and loves my grandkids, when they come visit!
Edit: Nikon D3500, 35mm DX lens, f/1.8, 1/60 shutter. I didn't put the focal point on Reggie's head, or he moved. Sorry... I'm still learning...
Has anyone had the chance to test the Nikon z6 III autofocus especially with dogs running towards the camera? For some reason these are my favorite sort of pictures to take, but it is quite a chore with the Nikon Z6 I, and I fear that this is one of the scenarios where the Z6 III may fall short of the Z8. It's clear to me that the Z8 is well capable of this, as evidenced by photos in this thread as well.
Looking forward to posting photos in this thread soon.
The 40mm F2 continues to surprise me on my Zf. It and the 28 F2.8 are the only Z AF lenses I have but I really appreciate their size to performance ratio. Also, a surprise benefit is I feel less scared in bringing the lens to the beach considering the fair used price I got it for.
