Have you ever seen Campagne? Incredible sport - the most complex and difficult of all of them, and the scenarios chance at every trial, so neither the dog or handler know what they are going to encounter. I’ll post a couple of links for you.

Thank you Sir, I would love to read more. If more difficult than schutzhund I know it is not for me but I love watching "real" handlers!!!

The puppy you see in the 6th photo is the one doing Campagne in France. She is the daughter of the dog in the first 5 photos. These are all short clips. A dog’s time in the trial is a few hours spread over two days.

- Travail à l'eau : working into water (usually a lake)
Envoi en avant - 12 pts going ahead : the master orders the dog to go ahead running ... the dog must run straight on, and comes back to the master without making curves and so on ... he has to come back directly
Rapport au vu - 8 pts see CAMPAGNE 2 (pick up an object the master let fall down and the dog sees it and has to bring it back to the master)
Rapport à l'insu - 10 pts - see CAMPAGNE 2
Pistage sur 4OO m : tracking / 400m long
Rapport d'objet chien libre - 40 pts while he is tracking (without leash) the dog has to bring back an object he finds on the ground (from his master)

My boy Bodi, 130lbs of gentle Lab!! He was supposed to be shipped out west as a puppy but at the last minute they decided against having a dog. We got lucky, very lucky.
