Otus 55 with 8mm tube. It'll be fun to compare that with the Sony FE 90 that Jordan produces such nice pictures with. And cracking shots from Bob, René, Werner, Greg, Tarocco, Philip (love the second one to death), and many others...
Thanks everybody for the recent likes and encouraging comments!
Great and inspiring works to be seen here...
Excellent, Philipp!
Jordan perfect macros with that great lens. I have big problems with HH in macro mode close to 1:1. The AF with the A7R is close up very slow and only OSS is not enough stabilization with my shake hands. I hope withe MK II it will be much better......
Always amazed to see this thread going strong, when returning after several weeks of inactivity.
On a recent business trip to Down Under I stopped by the 12 Apostles. The weather was forgettable; hence this picture isn't as great as it could have been. To somewhat salvage it, I tried to reinforce the rather gloomy mood of the cloudy sky in PP.
A7(r) sensor makes many things possible, which just didn't work earlier (I did shoot with Canon from 2001 to 2013). For example when I want to smooth water in sunrise/sunset photos I prefer to shoot HDR with shutter speeds 2s, 8s and 30s, because I can use "continous bracketing mode" = get away with just single dark frame exposure = less movement of clouds between HDR frames. Instead of carrying pile of ND-filters I carry just one and adjust the ISO to get shutter speeds I need.
