Trying to force myself that "I don't need a macro lens" , here some examples of A7r+MiniOtus combined in macro mode (heavy crop).
Ronny & Jordan, be clement
René, help me to resist... I really don't understand why Sony Italy make a 0% financing on new lenses
Wow... some seriously great shots!!! Congrats to everyone here
Ronnie amazing macro captures!
Rene love your work!!
Werner great stuff.
Bob, stunning sunsets.

A7(r) sensor makes many things possible, which just didn't work earlier (I did shoot with Canon from 2001 to 2013). For example when I want to smooth water in sunrise/sunset photos I prefer to shoot HDR with shutter speeds 2s, 8s and 30s, because I can use "continous bracketing mode" = get away with just single dark frame exposure = less movement of clouds between HDR frames. Instead of carrying pile of ND-filters I carry just one and adjust the ISO to get shutter speeds I need.
Canon FD 85mm f/1.2 L @ f/8, HDR(2s, 8s and 30s - Lightroom CC 2015), Sony A7 @ ISO 320, Hoya HMC 82mm NDX400
More awesome images everyone!
Nice macros Ronny!!
Bob...I don't think I'll ever tire of the lake sunsets!! Great colors
Charles...very nice portrait!
Rene...congrats on the 100MP!! So far great images! It's a fantastic lens!

I see that you have the FD 85/1.2 L.Thats good news!
OK, not sure why it's good news. I tried the most common f/1.2 lenses (Rokkor58/1.2, CanonFD50L, OM50/1.2, Nikon50/1.2, Konica57/1.2 - and earlier on EF bodies EF 85LmkII and EF 50/1.2L). To me FD85L seems to be the only "keeper" of these. Other f/1.2 lenses seem to be "great @ f/2" , which kind of makes no point of having f/1.2 lens. Or in case of EF 1.2Ls, I just hate the rendering style.
My copy has seen a lot and is really worn out (EDIT: removed the comment regarding bajonet for hood, there must be other reason the 3 hoods I have are too loose as that part of lens is metal). Also mount has a lot of play, but there is nothing duct tape wouldn't fix but glass, aperture and focusing are all in good condition.
Canon FD 85mm f/1.2 L @ f/1.2, 1/1250s, Sony A7 @ ISO 100, 23 image panorama
PS. Adobe Lightroom CC 2015 panorama function is not yet ready for "production use" - if you ask me. This is quite easy scene for panorama software, based on my experience of making shallow DOF panoramas ~10 years. Adobe managed to produce very weird result after 40minutes of processing, and it was just preview (Autopano Pro 3.7 it was <1min for final rendering and initial rendering is <10s, and in editor I can move perspective etc. in realtime with mouse > 5FPS):

That is consistent with my own observations. Disappointing as it was the only reason for me to upgrade from LR5. Love the duct tape.
Ronny, impressive captures
Trying to understand if, one day, I will be able to take a 1/10th of such beautiful macro pictures, I asked to myself if MP100 with 1:2 magnification and full manual lens could be too difficult to use for me... Do you frequently use tubes to reach more magnification? Do you use tripod?
To be honest, I was really impressed by Jordan's words about handheld captures with new FE90 thanks to OSS and IBS...
