You know what is frustrating? Getting up at 4am and still missing the sunrise. Oh well, had some fun shooting other stuff in Rocky Mountain National Park with a good friend this morning.
Shots this afternoon testing the M 50 Cron IV ( Mandler ) with the A7s. The M 50 Cron IV seems to gel a lot better with the A7s with no CA wide open. Nice combo when you are looking for the Mandler look

Thank you very much, Charles!
The A7s is really a great camera and the Cron is something unique alright but still, it is the person behind the camera made those wonderful images and not the gear.

Charles...What a great lens(and photog, too)...Love those shots.
MIke...Outstanding series, again also.
Jordan....very nice tomato.
Phillip...Awesome FD 300L pics.
Philber...I like teh Otus pics, but the ZM 35 1.4 shot is outstanding. I feel like I'm leaning while looking at it!
Here are a few taken this morning while doing chores All three were taken near to MFD and wide open, @f2.8 for a psuedo-macro look. I actually kind of like the results, too!
A7rM & FE21
This one is actually the just the 28 without the adpater @f2

Joshua, Philippe and Gregg, thank you very much and everyone for all the likes
The lens works much better on the A7s than even on the A7rM IMO. The lens when stopped down to f/5.6 or 8 is very sharp across the frame. I would have expected the best results with the A7rM ?
Well I finally made the jump from A900 to an A7 with a Loxia 35. Just had it for a couple of days ... but so far I am pleased - great color and IQ for sure.. these are just a few test shots from the other day.
The second part of the title is the proverb on the tabloid in the center of the pic, it reads in German:
"Doch - das Leben ist ein Wunschkonzert" i tried to translate...
