What are your initial thoughts on the UWA Gregg ? Seem worth $248 (or less given your bought yours used )
Looks pretty good, at least from your web sized samples (and frankly pretty much everything I shoot these days just goes on the web so it is my typical output medium lol)
Seems to handle flare well enough, corners look acceptable with no visible smearing, massive vignetting, and overall rendering style of the 28/2 FE still seems to be there

Well...I've only used it for about an hour, intermittently while chasing and playing tag with Gio, so so far pretty limited. I have to say that I don't like the AF with the adapter. Seems to miss a lot...but, once you nail the shot it seems much better.
The LR 6 profile works really, really good, though. You will lose a smidge of the whole pic, but it automatically corrects with the adapter on.
I'll shoot more with it today(maybe)...but for the price, it's really not bad.
Gregg
Sony A7R+Distagon 25/2.8 C/Y AE,which seems to show rather similar performance to it's MM brother.Maybe corners are very,very slightly softer and CAs are a tiny tad more pronounced.Anyways,A7R seems to treat corners of my wa lenses better than the A7.They seem to be less smeary overall.
@Noodlz79: nice colors and contrast but bokeh seems to me a bit confused
@nampramos: Ramos, fantastic 3D B/W
@rji2goleez: Bob, I have to save money for the Loxia?!?
@Greggf: Gregg, Gio is always so natural... super sympa!
@xwing15: René, first one very drammatic... good composition and B/W
@Picture This!: Manu, peaceful vision
@sculptormic: Michiel, nice reflections and light
Some others from my new toy... first one a bit cropped to straighten lines
Two more images from the Lower Antelope Canyon. The sand "sculpture" of the first images looks really like the eagle head of the logo of the USPS, complete with semi standing neck feather. Similar to the ones posted before, these are HDR images of bracketed exposures towards underexposure.
