I was asked about my processing several times in the last weeks so here are some before and after screenshots from LR:

Phillip, thank you very much for your sharing PP'ing workflow. I have been trying some of your "recipes", and they work very well for early morning, later afternoon shots!!

Also I wish add a link to an excellent portrait photographer, Manny Libres Librodo, and his first series of shots with the A7 and kit lens. The shots have not been PP'd or retouched. It illustrates very well the skill of the photographer with gear that does not get in the road of capturing images. Amazing ongoing series of shots!!!

This kind of lichen (Bryoria capillaris) is very sensitive to air pollution. It only grows few millimeter long when air pollution is bothering it.

This lichen can be found everywhere in our forests, even those bordering Vancouver. I'm not so sure it grows as plentifully down the valley where air pollution tends to bottle up more.

A few more with the Canon FD 85L on my A7

The last one is a 31-frame stitched pano (and yes, I know it's a little sloppily put together, but I was in a hurry to get my lunch from a café a few steps away )

Fred, how do you control the aperture of your TS-E on the Sony camera? What adapter do you use?

Thanks
Bernhard

The aperture is fully controlled by the camera. I used the Metabones Mark III.

Any issues using the 17mm on the A7R?

Once you get a well centered adapter, the TS-E lenses and the A7R work flawlessly. With slightly tilted adapter mounts, I saw issues on the corners. Basically when we have ultra-wide angle lenses, short flange distance to sensor and high resolution, any mount imperfection is noticeable.

I did have reflections/flare issues with the adapter but black flock paper fixed it.

Here is an image captured with A7R and FE 35mm f/2.8.
I'm very impressed by the detail and dynamic range I'm seeing on the files I worked on so far.

Looks great Fred. I'm getting ready to put my nikon D800e kit for sale. Planning on getting the 17 Ts-E or the 24 TS-E for my A7r

Went to Sony's booth today at CES. The A7r was prominently displayed. They even had a complete studio setup along with a live model with A7r's mounted in front for people to take photos with. Below taken with an A7 + Canon 35mm f/2 IS.

And here is a blowup display of the A7r (photographed with an RX-10):

I can't wait to try the new FE 24-70 f/4.
Here is another view from using the FE 35mm.

Just an observation based on the last two images from zhangyue. But the 55 1.8 really reminds me of the 35/2 ZE/ZF.2/ZF. At first, before looking at the caption, I was reminded of the lens. The 3D-esq pop is the same, and the double-image type bokeh that is a bit fussy and emphasizes lines and contrasting background subjects.

Just my thoughts.. You can't get the lens in Singapore yet, so I couldn't buy the 55FE even if I wanted to. So I'm living vicariously through all of you guys!

Good shots though, loving what I'm seeing from this little A7.

Just starting to browse this thread, may be dangerous to my financial well being.

Thanks for sharing Phillip
Seems there's an incredible amount of flexibility in those files.

It's been way too cold to get out and do some shooting (-15F and lower) so I went to a local museum.
