That's a wonderful shot Charles. Superb colors. But let me ask, did you suppress noise in the sky but not the woods, the swans (well, largish birds at least :-) look less detailed than some of the ground?
Thank you Wilhem No noise suppression, but just lifting the shadows in Lr 5.3, as the image was quite late in the evening. I should have used some noise reduction, but I tend to use very little normally. The large birds, are showing some movement, as the shutter was probably too low.

An impressive shot you got there, Charles! Did you use an ASPH lens for that? Then it is a 75mm Summicron. The 75mm Lux is not an ASPH lens. No biggie and the image you captured is great and that what counts.
Michael...How often frequent Santa Cruz? West Cliff, as it's called, and Natural Bridges State Park(at the end of West Cliff Dr), are less than a 15 min drive from my house!

Greg, not often, maybe twice a year. All my recent shots are from the same trip. I don't have the luxury having such beautiful place around

One shot from yesterday, sattelite antennas of Kongsberg Satellite Services close to home:
I see some slight flares (from the light sources centre bottom, flares in centre top), probably caused by internal reflections between sensor and/ or adapter?
