Finnish "Redwood forest" - trees not as big as the ones in California, but also Finland is pretty small Seriously, these were largest I have seen in Finland - and I have missed this old part of the forest even I have been shooting around this area over 10 years AND it's on my "home forest" only 20km from my home... I have seen single trees larger, but this forest had hundreds of trees like these.

PS. It's really sad that FE35 boke has so many issues - at any moment I would trade the "in focus" parts of Distagon 2/35 ZE with one of FE35, but in boke it's opposite. Unfortunately the boke quality makes it possible to use FE35 only with f/8-16, even at f/5.6 the cross-eyed boke ruins most photos shoot in forest.
After a month with the camera the largish to large SLR Contax lenses gets increased usage. I am disappointed with most M-mounts on this camera. The longer focale M-mounts (35mm+) can be very good but not as fast. The Contax G 28 is a major disappointment, the G 21 unusable while the G 45 is excellent. But it has to compete with (in my case) the Contax 50/1.4 (smallish) and Rokkor 58/1.2 (large). A really good M-mount is the Voigtländer 35/1.2 (II) but it aint small and I have the Contax 35/1.4 which is probably my favorite lens of all times. Havent tried the Contax G 35, it looks like it is good, but the size advantage wont match what I think the Voigt and Contax CY 35's does.
Still I am happy with the A7 despite some handling/UI issues that cant match many things a Canon 5D2 does with ease. It has some critical advantages to balance its shortcomings.

I'm starting to like FE55 more and more. On correct conditions it can deliver very good boke even wide open, and when it works it's delivers almost "medium format"-like rendering. For not correct conditions Rokkor 58/1.2 & Zeiss 1.4/85ZE are most of the time better choice.
