Very interested to see your third shot with flare ring using this lens. I have also noticed this with strong light/sun.

Oh oh, there we go again.

I am seeing no difference with other postings actually...

I stopped downsizing in fases with each time sharpening applied. I run it through focalblade for the wished sharpening and downsize in one time. No sharpening in ACR.

What's your method?

Michiel - I also still see what looks like CA in your images, even with good lenses. It's a green-on-the-left-side, red-on-the-right-side sort of thing. I was going to mention to you that I suspected your processing but forgot.

I've had reasonably good luck just exporting from LR to Flickr -- downsizing the long edge to 4000px -- then letting Flickr downsize further than that. The exception is the concentric-gradient-rings that other people are seeing with LR5.3 and the A7 (I've seen it with the Nex-7 now too with LR5.3), I never saw that with LR4 before, and it's not present in the original file.

Maybe post comments and methods for downsizing and sharpening to the new thread started by ken.vs.ryu:

Post Processing / Downsizing Method

https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1264767

And in general comments like Taylor's above, it would help to identify and point to specific images for both the person posting the image and the rest of us.

I agree monitor quality is very important these days...I often miss things on my work monitor, which is definitely a low end job.

Michael, around Cambie and West Broadway. Sorry, my entrance to the roof top could less than ideal for someone's daily security report, but email me for specific info, if needed.

Leica lens version: (will remove this image or post it in HD thread if anyone feels it's tool large for here. Just PM me.)

35 Lux, Charles and the A7R make a happy threesome! That said, so much fine work here in so little time that it is impossible for me to stay current in my appreciation of all the fine work being posted.

Sorry Martin for my slightly irritated reaction but I hoped I had found an acceptable way of downsizing but it wasn't the case. I am not a very technical but more an artistic person concentrating on content rather then digging into scripts and actions, which other people can do far better then me. Luckely I have no problem with my big prints but for that I work together with a professional printing lab.

So I am very glad you mentioned it again and Jochem and dbehrens jumped in with some practical solutions. thanks for that, gentlemen!

For the downsizing of these images I used Jochem's link and downloaded the script, which works very fast. I just used the default settings for these.
I hope this helpfull for other as well, because I am sure others struggle with it as well.

My downsizing

Andreas Resch script

Bonus.
A file I think I did not post because I was not satisfied with in the way it was downsized.
Especially the cane in foreground I found rather ugly.

My downsizing.

I must add these were rather difficult files wich needed a lot of adjustments in ACR with real big differences between the highlights and shadows.
