Impossible to compete, or even compare, with so many of the inspirational shots on this thread.
Most of my day to day photography happens when I take the dog for a walk first thing in the morning. Sometimes she manages to get into the shots!
Peter, it is not about competition but it is more about sharing our passion for capturing images. I admire folks here that can create artistically superb images out of seemingly simple objects/conditions and/or at seemingly "mundane" location.
I am retired and what do retirees do? They travel and I happen to combine my travel with my passion in photography. Yes, sometimes I brave adverse conditions in an attempt to create somewhat different look of my images. And, I admit that I got lucky a few times in terms of weather or being able to capture certain phenomena. But still, it is our passion that counts! I hope this post comes across well and cheers!

Joshua, thank you very much for sharing your fantastic visions and passion... it is not so obvious to find a retired people so passionate... you have all my admiration

I got the VM-E adapter the other day. I was confused when I bought it - I thought I'd read that you were able to "lock" at any position, or at least somehow relatively easy adjust where the infinity focus lock is. Nope. But it is very nice, and will probably become my primary M-E adapter. It's hugely better than my old cheap helicoid M adapter (which would wiggle out of infinity focus if you looked at it, and also had exposed innards).
A7 kolari mod + Leica M 35/1.4 (1, 5), Leica M 21/3.4 (2), Zeiss ZM50/2 (3, 4)
A7+FE55
I was considering another 50mm for the trip, but the AF of the FE55 helped me on this one as it allowed me to go strobist with a handheld off camera flash.
Charles: You are making excellent use of that 35 1.4.
Ronny: Again, very impressive shots.
Greggf: I really like that one shot where you nailed the sun hitting the roller coaster tracks. Great timing and perspective.

The result of a major solar storm manifested itself in form of Aurora borealis on March 17. The activities of the northern lights were observed even at lower latitudes the world over.
Here are a few images from that "adventure" .
Joshua, these are simply breathtaking. As somebody who went to Finland to take pictures of the Northern lights and had the scene (partially) spoiled by clouds, I'm happy that the trip up North went well for you, but I'll admit that I'm slightly jealous, too .

Wonderful colors and background blur, Werner. Happy Easter to you, too.

Taylor, great that you like your VM-E adapter. It's a solid piece of kit, even though I find that the focus ring is very stiff, at least on mine. I like that first picture of the truck.

Great portraits.
Here are some more from this week's Cherry Blossoms. Unfortunately, they didn't last very long.
Joshua...Incredible images of the Northern Lights!! Wow!

Thanks Chris88
Dale...Love the lighting on the second shot. Really cool!
More shots with the A7rM and ZM 35/2 Biogon

Beach fun and making new friends, this evening, A7ii and FE 35/1.4. All shot at f/2, which I'm liking a lot more than f/1.4 after a couple of days with the lens. Just as I like the Loxia 35 at f/2.8 a lot more than f/2.
