Thanks Gregg . . . having a blast with this lens.
Love the shots of your kid . . . love those long curls!
Wow, this page is filled with spectacular shots...
Bob: Amazing building shots, and the very first pic on this page, very impressive perspective.
Joshua: how long were you staying in Iceland? You're an amazing photographer!
Charles: Very nice showcase of the Loxia
Jack: That ZM 35 has very nice drawing, reminiscent of the C/Y 35. And though I don't see things in 35 FL, these outstanding 35 pictures might change my view. I assume yours is the silver version. Where did you get it?
Greg: Nice ZM 25 B&W series. One sharp lens it is.

Gregg, thank you! I posted it somewhere, the internet reputation based on charts/graphs of that lens is not so good but for real life photography, it is a stellar performer. The FE 24-70 deserves a second look, especially for travel photography, which I do on a regular basis due to its small form factor and light weight.

Thank you, Hiep! You are flattering me. In total we stayed for 12 days but only 8 days of shooting. In the first two days we stayed in Reykjavik and had to skip the Snæfellsnes peninsula to the west due to a major snowstorm with gale-forced wind. It was really bad but we couldn't do anything. So, we just hunkered down in the hotel, which was packed with stranded people under the same conditions . When we booked the flight for whatever reasons, it would offer a significant price break for us to stay another day even with the expenses of staying another night at the hotel. So, the last two days after making it back from circling Iceland, we stayed in Reykjavik, relaxed, sampled the local cuisine and did some city shooting, for a change .
Here is the organ of Hallgrimskirkja, a pretty contemporary church in Reykjavik.
Joshua outstanding shots..hats off to you
