SEP2 is Silver Efex Pro 2 and it is a B&W emulator. Probably the most powerful tool out there for such. The selective colour was just something I happen to do for this one particular shot. Normally I never use it for that.
Here's one more B&W conversion. a7s and CV40/1.4 wide open.
Nice images on this page!
Derek...frankenzeiss?? I noticed another user using that same moniker for his G45??
Just out imof curiosity...how does the G45 compare to the ZM50 Planar? Isn't the Planar just a newer design of the 45?
Here is shot from Pizza My Heart, a super great pizza joint in downtown Santa Cruz! Quite possibly you may have seen their shirts??
ZM 35/2 Biogon
At Joanlvh and Lightshow...if/when I get a little time, I'll do a small comparison between my Leica R 35-70/4 macro vs Minolta MD 35-70/3.5 macro

frankenzeiss is just designation another member made up to indicate that the contax g lens been turned into a real manual focus lens using scavenged parts from other non-zeiss lenses. here's a picture of it:
and the g28 one:
the g45 is a little sharper than the zm50 with a little lower contrast according to zeiss and probably a little wider. the zm and loxia do appear to be updated versions of the g45 design and draw very similarly.
We've had very little snow this year, leaving the ice on Lake Superior very clear. Look down, and you can see the rocks at the bottom of the big lake 10 feet below your feet.
OK, I need your help guys. I'm getting pretty pissed at Leica for keeping my M-E for two months for a sensor replacement and think I need to go ahead and get a second body to use with my M lenses. I have the 50 lux asph, zm 35/2 and CV 21 1.8 lenses... Which A7 body will play nicest with these lenses and what adapter do I use? I have to do something...

I think A7II or A7s, if you can live with 12mp The wides seem to perform a bit better on those.
I have the VC21 and Leica 'cron 50 on my A7r and like them both. Only have to do margenta correction on the VC, but that is quiet simple.

That, or follow LightShow's URL to modded Sony A7/R/s thread and simply search for posts by charles.K (Leica M9, 240, Monochrom user) and other posters who have first hand experience with both systems.
PS,
You will keep current lenses to use with Sony and returned M-E - no need to change anything
Sculptormic, looks great... Is it sharp to the corners? Which adapter do you use? Also, what are the file sizes from this setup? Good raw files? No problem with lightroom?
