KingFishPhoto inspired me to pick up a 400 f4.5 FD and a 1.4 A. This is from a quick walk around the park. Please note It did require a fair amount of color fringing TLC.
I will post with just the bare 400 later (which I believe will be better at resolving details and have less fringing). This is on an a7.
This thread is making it getting harder and harder to resist . Debating whether to get a good used a7 for under $800 or a new a7r for $1400. Just received the 70-200mm f4 OSS from B& H today but no full frame Sony body yet, only the a6000 and the A77II.. (shot Canon 5DIII and Nikon D610 before so I know something about full frame).

Xavier, Thanks! Yours is simply superb! how do you like that contax 18?
Thanks, Bob! I was kind of worried that the joke didn't go through. I like the contax very much, but the helicoid was too loose. I used it quite a bit on APS-C (NEX5N), but it was just too difficult to focus, so it hasn't got that much use on FF. I got it fixed a week ago. In fact, I took the picture above on my way back from the repair shop. I'm planning to put it to good use when I have some time to take pictures outside the house (which doesn't seem to be hapening now). I'll keep you posted (ask Helena, though, she's got one and appears to be liking it).
This is similar to an image I took back in 2012 which I called 'Telepathic'. It was much more 'ghostbuster's-like' but this scene reminded me of that night.
