Thanks Jako, I think your country ain't doing so bad either in having great locations. Not that old in many cases but typical American which is very exotic too for us Europeans. Having seen all those American movies.
And don't forget all those stunning landscapes you have, although may be often not so nearby.
For example; I think I really got to know citys like Seattle by you and others and Minneapolis I know very well in all seasons and wethercircumstances by Bob, which is nice, especially done by good photographers
I just got a Y/C Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 35-70/3,4. It seems to be the sharpest zoom I've ever had, clearly sharper than my Minolta MD 35-70/3,5, and has macro as well. An excellent travel lens, maybe complemented with the new 16 - 35. Here is one with a7r. The crop is ca. 1/3 of the frame.
