Amazing history,culture and the sunny weather(even in winter).
I can rent a car for 70 Euros a month (yes a month) in december plus pay for the first tank of gas another 70EU and drive 1.5 to mountains for a shot like this: https://500px.com/photo/75864871/
or drive one hour to be on the beach on Atlantic coast or Mediterranean.
On top of everything, this area is cheaper than many places in north america even for a tourist like me, who can't speak Spanish.
It will be very hard to leave when the time comes
Not the most interesting photos in the world, but they're from a winter hike I did last weekend to try out the G28 on my A7S. Both shots at f/11 the second one is obviously stitched.
Love how the low winter sun reaches through the forest and touches one tree after another. It caresses them, transforming them into golden creatures that seem to come alive for a couple of minutes, then fall dark and still again.
