The lens shows quite massive distortion at 35mm and close distance. To get rid of the distortion I processed a quick close-distance pano of my book-shelf through Hugin and let Hugin calculate the distortion parameters of the lens. Then I applied the distortion parameters in Hugin to the shot shown below in order to correct the distortion.

Quick shot of a local brew (Voodoo Brewery) poured fresh from a growler. Space Cadet weighs in at 9.1% abv and is brewed exclusively with Australian Galaxy hops. Amazing beer...almost as amazing as the cask-poured triple dry-hopped Hoodoo aged on house smoked hickory habanero peppers from the same brewer. Your palate is not ready.

First one of my Large dog wannabee...Mamiya 80mm f2.8 WO (using until I get back my Techart Deo Mk3 Golden Eagle Contax G to Nex adapter).
Next one's with the Mamiya 300mm f5.6 ULD N at f8 (still less than 1' of DOF at 30' or less)...

Sorry...couldn't resist (last 300mm one, I swear). ISO 2500. Mamiya 300mm f5.6 ULD at f8.
I didn't think the A7 could push out this much detail at ISO2500.

Three with the Mamiya 210mm f4 N @ 5.6.
First two are with the 2X-N extender (eq F11) or 420 mm. Chromatic aberation seems lesser with the extender?
Specular highlights show purple fringing from 1 pixel at f5.6 to 4 pixels at f4.
Third is without the extender, straight 210mm f5.6.

These are some images taken from the property of the Trexler Nature Preserve Environmental Center property, Schnecksville, PA last evening, November 24, 2014 a little before sunset. These are the first images taken with my new Leica WATE and my tripod mounted A7r; images shot at 21mm, f8 and processed in LR5.7.
