The air shows were not to your liking because of the weather but the urban scape images are truly gorgeous, Doug! And I wanted to add that the files of A7r VI are extra sweet. But then I saw your FS thread... 😜

Thank you Joshua! I was in Ghent last year on almost the exact dates when I was in Belgium for the same airshow. We spent two nights in Ghent this time. I just looked the pictures I just posted, and realized they were taken with all the lenses I took with me.
From Brudges, Belgium 10 days ago. I was there last year as well. This time we stayed in Brudges for just one night. I think it was plenty.

I agree with Ross, these are amazing travel images Douglas! I especially like the first one with the reflection! Voigtlander magic in many of these!
A few moose shoots I captured recently. I was driving down a backcountry road as the light was fading and I saw a dark object moving in my periphery. At first thought it was a bear. Instead I saw one moose that went into some thick brush. A few seconds later two emerged and moved into this area giving me an opportunity to capture a few frames before light levels dropped too low.

Thank you Scott! I love the Voigtlander lenses, mainly for the defined sunstar they make. I know some folks find them distracting. Wow, you shot the moose at 1/50 second!

Thanks again Alan! The wife had a great time. She even got up early a couple times to go with me to shoot at sunrise. For the trip to Kinderdijk from Delft, we got up at 5:15, which is late for me normally but not for her
Some shots from Delft, the Netherlands. We were there for two nights. I didn't really shoot the typical IG spots, just enjoying walking around the streets and looking for something interesting. I did walk a street 3 or 4 times at different lighting conditions. We were the only tourists on that street the whole time. Delft is such a compact and beautiful city, so easy to walk around.

So many beautiful,peaceful and colourful pictures of the finest Belgian architecture and picturesque country side.Seeing your photographs I consider purchasing Voigtlander 28/2 just because of it's ecxuisite overall performance,thoug 28mm is not my favourite fl.

Thank you Peire. I used to bring the Voigtlander 35 f1.2 for travel street shoots, then I bought the Voigtlander Nokton 28mm f1.5 because I wanted a bit wider than 35mm. I sold the 28mm f1.5 for the 28mm APO f2. Didn't use it at all for couple months after I bought it, until this trip. It's really compact and light. I also bought a Loxia 21 f2.8 again for this trip because I didn't want to bring the heavy Voigtalnder 21mm F1.4 with me this time. The main reason I use these lenses is the sunstar they make. But from the pictures taken with the Loxia 21 on this trip, I think the sunstar is a bit too prominent. Maybe I shouldn't have shot at f10 for some of them.
