Werner..You're seriously making me consider the FE 24-70 Great shot!
Dale...nice images with the WATE and C/Y 35 2.8
Derek...Nice images! Have you pre-ordered the ZM 35 1.4 yet?? I know Michael already did...but I know he shoots with an M9, too. I read it's optimized for the Leica bodies, not the A7's...bummer. Although I'm excited for the new CV Ultron 35...the one I have now has tons of character!
More from the MD 35-70/3.5 macro from the walk yesterday...

Horrible location for a house!!! Just kidding....It's the only house on the cliff side of West Cliff Dr in Santa Cruz left. All the others are on the other side of the street..

nah, i never preorder anything. i'll probably get one, but i want to get a real sense of how it draws first.
I recently purchased the Sony A7R and managed to take this and a couple of lenses that I bought to go with it out on a first shoot at a nearby lagoon. I must admit that I am loving this camera having moved on from an Olympus OMD EM-5.
CC always welcome.
Shaun.

Our dog has taken to jumping on the bed and sleeping in my spot more often than not these days!! Grabbed the Mitakon 50 .095 and snapped these tonight!

Thanks Gregg, your last one is exceptional in both ways as shot and as house!
I like the 24/70 though i don't love it. I am very curios how the FE 16-35 will be.
Tubedriver: Excellent shots, as Gregg's in both way, shot and location!

Thanks Werner. I have a BW version which I think I like better... That house was probably built in the 40's or 50's. The price of houses in Santa Cruz are already exorbitant(we are a bedroom community for Silicon Valley), and that particular house, if put on the market, would probably fetch in the neighborhood of around 2-3 million!! It's all about location!! Nice ZA 135 shot, too.
Helena...fantastic images! I love the fading road, and the sheep, too!
Sorry for all my posts...here are more Hawaii shots...

I wonder what that says about the success/popularity of these camera?
Do you think the A7 range is outselling Sony's other models?
The more popular they are the more lens we get from Sony, and from 3rd party manufacturers.
I have taken four trips this year, California, Yellowstone, Oregon, and Santa Fe, and did not see another Sony A7 Camera. I saw a large number of Sony NEX, two or three Sony Alpha—but no A7’s. I do not think they are as popular as one might think, but the people who own them feel passionate about photography.

Well, we are talking about an FF camera. The A7 series definitely sells much better than the A99 or the A900 ever could. We can't really compare the popularity of an FF camera to an APS-C due to price (primary), weight and size (secondary).
