Werner...very nice Dormitorium! You've has some incredible shots with the FE24-70!!
Charles...those two night shots with the WATE are awesome!
Michiel...great Contax N 24-85 pics...I use to have the non N 28-85 and while large, it produced the same results. I know the N version is so much smaller! Very nice!

haven't used the 12mm, but using the LR plugin with other lenses i found i got better results by having a near focus and far focus profile as well as a profile for each aperture.
I havent tried that I might give it ago, but due to the nature of a 12mm lens not sure how well that would work. The only real problem with the Flat Field Plugin is that due to the heavy vignetting it introduces a fair bit of noise in the corners. The other option I found was to bracket three shots at 0, +1.5 and +3.0 and then hand blend them in PS. That gave me slightly better results than the plugin, but took alot more time and effort.

This thread continues to inspire. Great work everyone.
Very nice photo! Funny, we have the same birds here, or at least very, very similar, and your description is spot on. It doesn't even help to just serve sunflower seeds, they still throw out 4-5 seeds for each one they eat...
doh, now you tell me! i just bought a 10lb bag of just sunflower seeds in hopes they'd focus on that.

yeah, none of the lenses i've used it on had anywhere near as bas vignetting (though worse color shift). i just used the plugin to correct color i always left the vignetting in.

Michiel, very nice shot, these N lenses are looking very good and they are quite small.
Isn't there a N - E AF adaptor ?
There is a Fringer AF adapter but it is sold out. The Kipon adapter works good, gives info to Bridge and aperture can be set on camera as long you set the aperture on the lens wide open.
The 24-85 is a very good lens with a great reach, almost sufficient for most things. I am testing it intensevly for my trip.
I will take it with me. But you can't say this lens is small, it is a rather fat piece of glass. I put on my batterygrip again for better balance.
Some "Amsterdam school "architecture from around the 1920th architect Michel de Klerk.
as most know, this is the smallest 75mm made for 135mm film. Cost is about 275USD. Sean Reid I think said it holds it's own against all the Leica 75s Bokeh looks nice on A7; I need to test on the M9.
I had handed out the A7 to the kids, and they took the first two, and: DSC01614 by unoh7, on Flickr
A couple more from yesterday with the A7r up at Crystal Mountain next to Mt. Rainier:
180/3.4 APO Telyt @f/5.6 3-Image Stitch
16/3.5 AI Nikkor at f/8 5 image stitch - this is my first successful stitch with this lens in portrait mode - landscape mode clipped off the sun. I've tried portrait orientation stitching in the past with dismal results.
