There is a Fringer AF adapter but it is sold out. The Kipon adapter works good, gives info to Bridge and aperture can be set on camera as long you set the aperture on the lens wide open.
The 24-85 is a very good lens with a great reach, almost sufficient for most things. I am testing it intensevly for my trip.
I will take it with me. But you can\'t say this lens is small, it is a rather fat piece of glass. I put on my batterygrip again for better balance.
