This bridge is about 25 minutes drive from my house. The fishing pier near the bridge is one of my favorite locations not too far from me that I like to shoot sunrise from. I think I have shot this bridge at least 20 times. There was quite a bit of confusion this morning, there were reports that some cars went down with the bridge when it collapsed. Now it appears that few minutes before the collision, the ship sent out mayday signal, the authorities were able to stop vehicles from entering the bridge, unfortunately 8 workers repairing the road surface on the bridge went down with it, 2 of them were resecured. the rest are still missing.
Back home in Florida. This beach is near Marineland, South of Jacksonville (where I grew up). I've always struggled with compositions on this rocky beach. Not a lot of interesting color this morning, but was nice to get out and do some landscape again.
Two of my favorites from a recent memorial service for my cousin who passed away 10 years ago. We wrote messages for him and released them in balloons.
