Two images of the same woman shot a few hours apart in Tibet's middle of day harsh light. Have to say even after 15 years of ownership, the fine zoom continues to impress me: texture, liveliness, smooth. Images are at Samding Monastery in front of Yamdrok Tso (4550m).
Looking for the correct exposition with BW ND filters to make a long exposition, I tried some bracketing, to grasp the correct time. Light quality changed dramatically!!! Those are two consecutive expositions around 76, 98 seconds

Any 7700m mountain is obviously going to dominate the view for vast distances in clear air. This one, Gurla Mandhata (Memo Nani in Tibetan), is #34 highest in the world. It has a prominence of just 2800m, which is why its summit is just 15kms from a main road leading to Purang, near Nepal. These images were taken around 50kms distance. I'm delighted with them, taken with the CY 35-70 at 4650m.
