@Schwarzlicht@ the resolution, contrast and colors of your images are impressive. Are you using grad filters to keep the sky? It is really a pity I like so much manual and light glass. Batis seems superb!

I got lucky. It has to happen sometime as you know, lol. Another from the same day. It's easy to see why these folks were never invaded apart from a few skirmishes, they are seriously tough. They do this trek over days in subzero temps, all ages. The guy 50m off is prostrating around the lake, he has knee pads and strong gloves. CY 35-70.
I am still experimenting a bit with image alignment techniques to generate smooth looking GIF animations from high resolution images and simply share what I discover, not really being primarily focused on generating "pretty" videos.
The picture is almost ooc. It has been sharpened and an additional vignette has been added. With the unedited RAW I asked myself what else could be edited. Colors, contrast and depths remained unedited. I still really like the FE 50/1.4 ZA. The pictures don't seem sterile/clinical to me. It's a shame it weighs so much. For me, its biggest competitor is the Batis 40/2, which I use as “always on”.
I got myself a Sigma 105mm 1.4! And I went to an exhibition to try out the new lens. Models are busy in the middle of the week So, I ended up shooting this folk dance with *manual* focus at 1.4:
