Almost by accident I found Lensbaby 2.0 from a drawer of left over photo stuff. This is a circa 2005 second hand lens that I bought about 15 years ago for 25-30 eur from somebody who got frustrated.
I do not rember when I had last time used Lensbaby. All I remember is that it was terribly difficult to get it sort of a "focused" with full frame DSLR. Now with mirrorless and magnification in electronic viewfinder (A7r3), the user experience was actually quite ok. The hit-and-miss -element was there, but I shooting static pictures was not that difficult.
I was also positively surprised that if focused correctly the Lensbaby is reasonably sharp with contrasty and vivid colors. All the images are shot the with smallest aperture ring that came with the lens. I think one stop smaller aperture would be useful.
Dawn arrives in the clear cold air at 4580m Lake Manasarovar. It's a time and place you want to stop the world each five minutes and have ten lenses available to use in each short period. These are from Sony's a99 and CZ's 35-70 (after the a7r battery signed off, and sleepy me had no spare to slip in).

The effect is purely optical. Lensbaby is sort of a el cheapo wobbling tilt shift lens. The 2.0 version I have is old and not very pricise to use, although it is much more easy with mirrorless than originally with DSLR
