Street sewing, and dealing in Lhasa. People often associate Zeiss optics with great 'performance', that is, the quality we call sharpness. But in my opinion it's the relaxed and almost casual colour and contrast combination that sets them apart, and yes, above the competition. Skin tones are perfect OOC, and fabric rendering is a specialty. The lens is a 40 year old design, a zoom. No profile, neutral selection.

Yep! I'm okay -- I've been very distracted with my latest activity: Pickleball! I've been pursuing it at the local YMCA, 5-6 days a week, for about 3 hours at a time. Totally bushed afterward! This supplies my needed workout and calorie burn, instead of walking around town and woods.

Upper Tibet can lay claim to having the cleanest and clearest air in the world. No water vapour, no valleys (just depressions), no overflights ever, the lowest population density, no industry or agribusiness, just a handful of vehicles plying the (excellent) roads. It's the tabletop of the world. There can be occasional dust and snow flurries but at dawn the light is immaculate. (Contax 35-70).
