Thank you very much, K-H.! Too bad our local birds are seldom that colorful; that particular bird was photographed in Costa Rica. Again, you have refined your GIF creation skills there! Sorry for the late response.
Tried out the A7RV for some birding yesterday. The crazy thing is I was probably closer than 40 feet (~13 meters) from the ducks, shot them at 840mm, still had to crop away about 2/3 of the frame.
A 248 Frame GIF with 1300 pixels max length to keep file size manageable on the Internet.

As one can see from the white pickup truck the road is pretty bumpy and the images I took need to be smoothed out from frame to frame. I used Adobe Photoshop 2024 with its images alignment features fort hat. In this case that seemed to work particularly well!

Spring is the best season in West Tibet. No foreigners, a little snowfall and a more intimate time with the locals, and the fabulous clear light. You don't know which mountain to gaze at, 6638m Kailash (like the women here) or 7728m Gurla Mandhata. It's the axis of the world. Contax 21/2.8, at Chiu Monastery.
