Sub zero stroll along the shores of Lake Manasarovar (4580m), which is a 'kora' or religious circumambulation undertaken by Buddhists and (some) Hindus. You see the lone figure to the bottom right, and Mt Kailash (6700m) looms in the background. FE55 and a7r.
Sometimes I come across the 'Old Tibet', let's call it. One such town is Dzongba, about a day east of Mt Kailash by road. It's a checkpoint now so it was easy to find some time to see this old Sakyapa monastery. Travelling west is a journey back in time, very heady because it is all 4500m - 5200m. Zeiss 35-70mm (on Sony a7r). This one transitioned into the digital era with finesse.
