CY 35-70. Winter view from Ganden Monastery, Central Tibet. It took two tries to get to the site, because the first attempt was with a guy whose early Land Cruiser had lost first gear. His 'solution' to the problem was to gas it hard around the hairpins in second gear, so as not to stall the engine. I don't scare easy but after 3-4 scarifying corners (out of view in this image), I called enough. Back we went. I'm amazed to be alive after 15 years of going there.
Landscaped with Turkey Vultures
A7cr with ten-year old Sony E 55-210 4.5-6.3.
What can be done with an old APS-C lens (I am still considering which telephoto lens to go with the cr and the Sony 20-70).
Winter trip at Pabonka Monastery, above Lhasa. CY 35-70 (1-3), CY 21/2.8 (4). A haunting and ethereal place, all the kings and dalai lamas visited here to pay their respects.
