Yes, it is a sad development for the owls and us photographers. Again, those images were taken 4 years ago, in June 2019 to be exact. The best shooting opportunities dated back to the period between 2017 and 2021.
The Great Himalayas seen from the now-closed road from Tibet to Nepal via Zhangmu. The drop in elevation is around 3000 metres, it's a real roller coaster ride and quite sketchy after recent snow. These images are from the top of the Tibetan plateau before the descent. CY 100/3.5.
