Philip - Forgive me for violating etiquette (since this is not a presentation/critique forum). Your images of this beautiful Tibetan woman are screaming to be cropped. The woman and her winter clothing are the subject but the composition detracts from her as the subject. I love these images and they have much more power cropped. I hope you don’t mind me posting cropped versions. I love your images of Asia.

The cropped shots certainly provide more impact and are artistically pleasing, but the full-screen shots provide more context and tell more of a story. Both work in their own way, so I suppose it depends on what your intent is, IMHO.
^^^ It says it all; philip_pj shoots and presents in his own way, which doesn't have to be models' portraiture, but rather reportage style from that part of the world. Like it or leave it, once posted more than dozens of times, it becomes a style. BTW, the cropped images look more like fake passport photos (opium still sells in Australia?) and I much prefer the original shots as documentaries.

In the last 8 years, I took thousands of burrowing images at this particular location some 30 minutes from where I live. Now, security guards are patrolling the area slotted for development. I can just go back, reminiscing of the good ol’ time…
Here are 3 images from several years ago using an adapted Canon lens on the long sold A9. They were taken out of the vault and edited today…
I had the pleasure of going with my 80yr old mother to Alaska for her bucket list trip. She's always wanted to go take pictures of the brown bears. The trip turned out to be so much more than just the bears. Truly a trip of a lifetime.
