Joshua -- Nothing short of stunning! Great images of Namibia. I remember first seeing images of this desert in the film, "The Cell" with Jennifer Lopez. Eerie and magical place!

Naturally, I have to post the antithesis to your good taste.
Yesterday, in grungy downtown alleyways. . .
Thank you very much for your kind words, Jim! I didn’t see that movie but I looked it up on-line and yes, they filmed a part of it in Deadvlei or dead marsh in Sossusvlei. I was at Deadvlei twice on this trip, in the afternoon and early the following morning. Well, we flew over Deadvlei, too in a helicopter on the last morning. So, actually 3 times then.
Hey, I like the grungy downtown alleyways; very photogenic as you show that in your image.

Simply magnificent, Josha!
Thank you very much, Jack! I am a fan of your “moody” images. Keep them coming, please. The colors of the first one are gorgeous.

Thanks for you kind words, Joshua!
I was lucky to be in Namibia once in 2015 - local windserfers from CapeTown invite me to join their crazy 5 days road trip to Namibia on 3 4×4 trucks (no tents, just sleeping pads and bags, all food cooked on open fire, plenty of bier))). One of the best experiences in my life! And surely The Best Windsurfing I have ever had. Nice memories, but very cold ocean)))
We have seen few abandoned homes during our trip, but the colour of the sand inside was different... Anyway, adore your Namibia photos!
Below are two first shots I took in CapeTown in 2015. Just two FIRST shots... CapeTown in my love forever!...Show more →
I anticipated the raw beauties of Namibia but there are a few aspects about that country that I didn’t expect. It was clean, impressively clean. And the temperature ranges were on the cold side, for sure colder than I anticipated. I spent one week there and I felt that I barely scratched the surface.
Too bad, we didn’t make it to Cape Town while in South Africa. Your wonderful images from there make me want to go there the next time around. On that trip, we made it just to Johannesburg and Pretoria and of course, a week in private game camps near Kruger National Park.

Thank you so much Douglas, greatly appreciate the kind words.
Your marvelous fall shots and now the beautiful eagles are such a pleasure to view. Really admire your work over all the varied genres.
Joshua your lone tree at blue hour is stunning!! Beautifully done.
Islandmed. Love those two shots from Cape Town.

Thank you very much, Birdie!

Unfortunately, Manne is no longer around and I hope he is doing well in cat heaven
he turned 15
Now we have two Maincoons Morris and Zeb , they are 7 months and 6 months old
Morris's weight is about 6.3 kilograms = 13.89 pounds
and Zeb 5.5 kilograms = 12.13 pounds
Adults between 9-11kg = -20-24 pounds
so they will be quite big cats, we hope
Great shot from you as always my friend
Ronny
Thank you very much, Ronny! Oh, I am sorry about Manne… Your new and beautiful cats will be large for sure.
