Looking at a Rose from my Garden mist sprayed with a Glycerin Water mix. This is part of a series from my first attempt of using my recently received Adaptalux Studio.
Image cropped from left and right and taken with tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm Macro Apo-Lanthar lens. 2 Macro Focusing rails were used to position the camera and lens on the tripod head and tripod. The lower focusing rail for the X-axis (left and right postioning) was the Leofoto MP-180S and the upper focusing rail for the Y-axis (front and back positioning) was the Swebo LS001. Lighting was my Adaptalux studio using mini tripod mounted Adaptalux Control Pod 3.0 and 2 white LED light arms and 1 super bright white LED Lighting Arm S from behind.

Not going out very much of late . However, trying to work on my reflexes, getting subject and keeping subject in the view finder. So chasing bees intentionally with the R4 as it does not focus quite as fast as the A9 and I have to work a bit harder

We started our backpacking at Lake Bowman. We went through Polebridge and stopped for Danish (a tradition) but being lunch time, we opted for the meatball/cheese sandwich which I highly recommend. We at our lunch at the shore of Lake Bowman. The slight haze and glassy waters made for a very serene and calming experience.
This day's hike would be an easy flat 7 miles to the Bowman Head Campground, basically a hike the entire length of Lake Bowman. The campsite was empty when we arrived but eventually we had one other couple at the campsite. Otherwise, we didn't see a person on the trail. The campsite included a stream running right next to us so it was a great opportunity for some cascading rapids using my modified Peak Design tripod where the leg sections were removed creating an 18" tripod that could be extended to about 2' tall and much lighter for back packing.

You convinced me to take the Loxia 35 with me on an outing to the Hoh River in Olympic Nat'l Park tomorrow. I am taking the Batis 18 and was going to take the CV 40E, but I think the Loxia images will go better with the Batis, and a little wider angle for the trails.
