He had JUST finished breaking up a "discussion" between 2 crows and a turkey vulture,
who were way too close too the nest.
I had, of course, just put away my gear and was leaving,
so only captured the end

Oh, I still have and use my Batis 25, but not often enough.

I did the same but my son is really not into photography. He prefers using his phone, simply because he carries that around rather than a separate camera that he considers too bulky and a pain to carry around . Oh, well; may be down the road... I have too many lenses and use only a handful of them. Even the GM 24mm, the lens that replaced the Batis 25 in my lineup is not getting enough usage lately…
I am in love with Mino lenses.
Two absolute favorites of mine are relatively unknown Minolta 100 2.8 SoftFocus and all-time favorite of all Mino users 80-200 2.8 APO G.
SOOC jpgs for both both lenses do not need any post-procession. Moreover, one will spend quite some time if tried to reproduce Mino look of mentioned lenses in PS.
Take a closer look on the last picture - aren't those tender pastel colors magic?
