Looking at the Plaster Cast Model of "Rape of the Sabines" by Giambologna (known as Jean de Boulogne in Italy). Giambologna created the marble sculpture from this that is in Piazza della Signoria under the Loggia dei Lanzi.

At the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze (Gallery of the Academy of Florence), Firenze (Florence), Italy.
Here is the second in my informal series of West Virginia waterfall images. It's also located in Blackwater Falls State Park, downstream about 50 yards and about 100 feet in elevation from the first image I posted. A bit of a bushwhack down to get to, but worth the effort. There are multiple falls below this one that I have yet to photograph but are on my to shoot list. Steve

Yes, the hummers do love the Mexican Cigar and the salvia . I planted that Cuphea in a hanging basket . I have waited for months for the male to show up during the day with sunlight . He normally shows up after dusk just before dark to feed. I have some shots but the high ISO is a real detriment to getting some detail. Enjoy your trip and looking forward to some more wonderful shots. Be safe .

Looking at our blooming White Dogwood white Bracts and flowers in the center of each of the 4 Bracts.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar, FE mount; silent shutter. Leofoto MP-180S Focusing Rail used to position the camera on the tripod with 11" Variable Friction Arm attached to the rail to mount, postion, and aim the Ulanzi VL-49 RGB LED light to supplement the lighting (set to 5500 degrees K at 100 %).
ISO 400, f8, 1/100 Second (in some wind).
Exposure Corrected +0.18 Stops.
