Taken in my neighbor's yard. Hand held, manual focus, at minimum focus distance. These beauties insisted on getting to the Zinnias and didn't care at all that I was standing 3 feet away. I have a Nikon 105/2.8 macro but I have not yet tried it on the Sony. I am continually impressed with the quality of this new lens! FE70-200.
Thanks for looking,
Mark (East Lansing, Michigan)
Dale, your first shot is a delight, and the third is even better. Composition can't have come easily. Great stuff!
Ronny, while I don't comment every time, the only reason I don't is that your excellence contrasts so starkly with my inability...

ebookman – are you sure that last shot is with the WATE? it looks a bit telephotoish.
You are right on!. Contax C/Y 80-200 on last shot. Two mistakes in the same posting. Wrong lens and somehow it got posted twice. I don't know how that happened, but I have seen it before.
Thanks so much Werner and Philippe, much appreciated.

Yet another car, but now German. CY 35-70.
Parenthesis: if you happen to notice peculiar black spots around the engine hood, it's no fancy texture or old-photo-image-effect. It's a massive attack by hundreds of strange flies that apparently had nothing better to do than to gather on the hood.
