Canon FD L 50/1.2 - incredible how sharp this lens can be at f1.2.That's not immediately visible due to rather low microcontrast at this aperture setting,but sharpened tiny bit in PP the lens shows it's resolving power.
Im curious, yours is Leica variant? Is it different from Minolta one? Cause I saw bokeh with Minolta one and it wasnt exactly pleasant, but your seems pretty allright..

i've heard they're the same and the wide open bokeh certainly looks the same, but tariq and i were comparing my results at infinity to his with the rokkor and it looked like there might have been some differences in field curvature. in any event the wide open bokeh is generally too harsh for my taste (and i like funky bokeh), but it improves on stopping down and subject/background distance can always be optimized. i usually shoot it between f/2.8 and f/5.6 if there is going to be bokeh. if the background is sufficiently far sometimes i'll open it up all the way (as in the chevy shot).
