From Conowingo dam… It was cold, windy, wet and only moderate lighting at best. The ironic aspect is while I was there, when the shooting conditions were better, the eagles just sat around on the other side of the river or they were a mile away… ..

You made the best out of the situation, Joshua. I like the waves in the background too.
Some shots from yesterday and this morning, most of these were shot at ISO outside of my ISO comfort level, a lot of details were lost after noise reduction in Topaz

Thank you very much, Doug! I got a handful of eagle fishing images in the 4 days I was there and again, the lighting and distance were not to my liking. Oh, well, we are shooting wildlife and the circumstances are beyond your control.
Your images you posted here are great. I thought the kingfisher just flew out of my screen; very 3-D. And the fall colors are just lovely,
I don't even know how the a1 tracked this fast sparrow (maybe a chickadee) as it dipped and swerved away from me. I took the burst of images and layered in several of the best poses into this final composite.
