I've had to be creative when shooting in low light with my a1. I am still waiting for the Really Right Stuff L bracket that is on backorder. For this image, I rested my camera on fence pole that was fortunately in the right place and height.

It's been quite a while since I broke out my good old Canon 24 TS-E II. I've gotten so spoiled using LR with prime lenses such as Loxia 25 and 21, correcting perspective in PP. The Canon takes that one step away and gets a little closer to the original visualization, especially for merged panorama composites. Is it worth the extra weight and bulk? Hard to justify it, based on my results with Loxia, ZE and CV prime MF lenses.
Nice to break it out and put it through its paces!
Many more leaves have fallen due to the major storms we've been having here in the Pacific Northwest over the last week. No damage here to speak of, but plenty of major road closures around the Olympic Peninsula.

Very similar composition to a shot I posted recently.
An eagle sighting is rare for me around here in Denver. I waited for about 30 minutes for this one to fly off to get an action shot but he just chilled out on the branch.
I had fun last weekend at my local shop, Looking Glass Photo, hosting a Sony demo day with the A7IV featured. I had plenty of time to play with the camera and various lenses. I suspect the A7IV and 35GM will find their way into my bag soon!
