One of what will be many posts about this eclipse.
Nice, Bob! I should have shot with the same setup as you instead of the 200-600+1.4 TC. The worst part was I thought it would be cool to have the moon above the Lincoln Memorial in the shot so I got up at 2:00 AM to drive to DC, the moon was way too high relative to the memorial. I ended up just shooting the moon. I could have done that in the comfort of my yard.

Thank you very much, Doug! I got a handful of eagle fishing images in the 4 days I was there and again, the lighting and distance were not to my liking. Oh, well, we are shooting wildlife and the circumstances are beyond your control.
Your images you posted here are great. I thought the kingfisher just flew out of my screen; very 3-D. And the fall colors are just lovely,
Thank you Joshua!
Here is another shot of the eagle tug of war on Tuesday.

Thanks Douglas! I almost missed it myself. My wife woke me up and said, "you're snoring and there's an eclipse."
Still rain almost every day, so here are some more evening street shots. There will probably be more later, some with Lensbaby lenses. Hope I'm not boring you.
